Except we call that a basement. One thing this photo can’t convey? The stifling heat and humidity before, along with the terrible stillness, then WHOOSH! The wind comes up, the temperatures drop, and usually the driving rains come. THAT’S when you are glad your house has a basement! Thanks for the great post! ;-)M
